Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

 

Key Responsibilities:


Ensures efficiency of daily warehouse services and personnel assigned. Responsible for supervising and monitoring the activities of second shift selectors and equipment in accordance company service requirements on a daily basis.

 

Location:  Twinsburg, OH

 

Compensation: Competitive salary with bonus potential

 

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 4:00 pm - completion

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, instructs, and monitors warehouse employee’s production efficiencies and error performance daily.
  • Supervises, instructs, and conducts regular training to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all OSHA and NDCP safety practices and guidelines.
  • Provides supervision, counseling and coaching of warehouse employees to ensure compliance with operating standards and to assist with problems.
  • Responsible for ensuring employees in their respective functional areas have adequate training and tools necessary to meet defined job requirements.
  • Deploys warehouse employees and distributes daily workloads to ensure route departure times are met.
  • Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings, training sessions and seminars as required.
  • Assists in administering random drug screening of employees.
  • Performs other functions as required by management.
  • Ensure that the cleanliness of the warehouse meets or exceeds FDA and OSHA guidelines.
  • Maintain accuracy of all data reported, consistently evolve existing reports and create new ones as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

 

5 years previous supervisory experience or equivalent required

3 years warehousing or distribution experience required

Proficient with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), Retalix preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated while interacting at all levels of the organization

Exceptional customer service skills.

Flexibility in work hours/days; ability to adapt to business needs

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Strong analytical and problem resolution skills

Results oriented with the ability to follow through without constant supervision

Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and remain organized

Ability to prioritize and complete tasks and responsibilities in an ever changing and fast paced environment
