Sunday: 5pm-1:30am

Responsibilities

  1. Dispatches fleet at distribution center and related hubs ensuring that all routes are staffed appropriately.
  2. Reviews time cards and E-time – corrects E-time scans.
  3. Tracks status of vehicles and equipment.
  4. Reacts to breakdowns and accidents.
  5. Checks overages, shortages and damages and corrects with drivers.
  6. Maintains accurate records on the movement of goods to store locations.
  7. Schedules drivers for next shift.
  8. Processes PeopleNet trips from driver computers.
  9. Ensures compliance with Department of Transportation Hours of Service.
  10. Creates weekly mileage report for all units.
  11. Reviews accuracy of shuttle drivers’ payroll submissions.
  12. Tracks over/under hours for route drivers

Qualifications

  1. Industry experience or equivalent education
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  3. Strong oral and written communications skills
  4. Ability to interact well with employees
  5. Knowledge of MS Office: Word & Excel
  6. 1 - 3  Years of transportation
