  • Overview

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will assist with Inventory management within the warehouse.  The Inventory Control Clerk will perform cycle counts within all areas of the warehouse as well as compile and report all findings to the management team.  Additionally, general office work and computer data entry.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform cycle counts using a RF Gun in a perpetual inventory environment
    • Monitor inventory Code Dates; maintain a record of all disposals
    • Research discrepancies inventory quantities
    • Prepare reports using Manhattan & EXCEL and present findings to supervisor.
    • Maintain strong inter-departmental relationships with key members of Purchasing, Finance, Receiving and Selecting Departments
    • Participate in project teams as needed
    • Receive incoming calls.
    • Research and compile OSD data on spreadsheet via order discrepancies.
    • Process Return/RAR ASN’s
    • Process all customer orders including customer pick-ups, 3rd party deliveries, intercompany transfers.
    • Review all close purchase orders and file as necessary.
    • Other related tasks as they arise
    • Ability to work flexible shift

    Qualifications

    • Basic leadership skills with the willingness to learn, improve and adapt
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Basic computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft office
    • Proficiency in mathematics
    • Proficiency with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), Manhattan/SAP preferred
    • Strong attention to detail

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • A minimum of 1 years in an inventory/materials role
    • Forklift experience required
    • Experienced in using an RF gun preferred

     

    Shift: Sun-Thurs, 4am start time
